- Lifetime bans will be given by the staff on the occurrence that previous bans have been frequent and/or severe and these people will be blacklisted in order to prevent other members following a similar path.
- Personal Messages will never be shared with others outside of the personal message circle unless permitted by the member(s) included in the message. This rule is not limited strictly to the forum. If a betrayal of trust regarding messages on this forum occurs on other websites, it will not be tolerated. Direct threats to an individual issued in Personal Messages or on the board will be handled in the same manner, as such behaviour is never warranted. Confrontational posting and personal attacks of any kind in any discussion must be refrained from.
- The forum’s administrator position is shared by Kelan’s Wood and BluesyThug. We hold responsibility across the entire board yet are welcome to admit when we are wrong. In the rare times a member goes too far, we are enabled to remove or edit posts, and ban members if this is required. Any issues you have with another member are to be resolved in private message and NOT on the board. If the resolution to this dispute is unsatisfactory, take it to the administrators. If the issue is with the administrators or other lower ranking moderators than it still shall be resolved in private message and a compromise is to be made.
- Debating subjects, even at heated levels is encouraged. Personal attacks or general name calling however will not be accepted. Publicly posting calls for members to be banned or for members to quit will not be tolerated. Any concerns about members should be reported to moderators and reporting a moderator or administrator’s post will likely be seen as bullying and an attempt to start causing trouble. It is not authoritarian to dismiss our own reported post but instead is a ceasing of tension. If we realise the negative effect of our post we will delete it, but only if it has been discussed privately and civilly. Expletives or personal insults directed at other board members and/or moderators will not be allowed as signature lines, status, or as part of a poster's account profile when posting to the board.
- If someone is privately abusive then please report it and a group discussion will be made in PM
- Harassment publicly or privately will not be accepted. If someone has an issue with other members, taking it to private message in a civil manner is preferred rather than clogging the main board up. If recipient of said message asks the sender to stop contacting them, it needs to. Any continuing contact after that will be addressed on an individual basis.
- Spamming and trolling will not be tolerated
- Failure to adhere to the rules will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
- No listing of home addresses whatsoever
- No posting of contact details without expressed permission
- Intentional slander or libel is not to be accepted.
Note: After a member is banned, at the discretion of a moderator, they will have a period of one week where the ability to contact the moderators about the ban will be left intact. This is a partial ban, and after the 7-day period, it will become a full ban with no board access allowed.
