Since being introduced to cinema by Ingmar Bergman in the form of 'Wild Strawberries' at the age of 12, I have been infatuated with movies. I have scoured the output's of domestic and international cinema to find films that I enjoy and connect with. I have narrowed it down to two films, so far, that would be in contention for my favorite film of all-time, and I am working on creating a Top 150, but at the moment my two favorites are 'Eraserhead' (1977) and 'The Master' (2012).
So, I'd love to heard what your favorites are?? I'd be very interested...

Damn, there's just too many to choose from.... as far as comedies go, Animal House, The Kentucky Fried Movie and Revenge Of The Nerds are all pretty high up there. I'm also extremely fond of the original Vacation film, and more recently films such as The Boat That Rocked. The Wall and Whiplash are two damned good music film as well, so they deserves a mention. As for dramas, two which I love and can watch over and over again are The Shawshank Redemption and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. Last but not least, gotta mention A Clockwork Orange as another favourite.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, and I'm absolutely certain I'm missing quite a few other favourites

Enjoyed it quite a bit (if that's the right word). Ultra disturbing and uncomfortable and just plain weird. It's like if Captain Beefheart made a movie with the assistance of David Fincher. It's both fucked up and is totally surreal. Not sure if put it as my all time favourite though an excellently made film nonetheless that I'm certainly going to have to watch a few times. As for my favourites myself, it's very difficult to narrow it down. Many of them are the obvious choices like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future, Shawshank, The Godfather, etc. I'm going to go for more personal choices here though. High Fidelity, American Beauty, (500) Days of Summer, Ed Wood, Dead Poet's Society, Good Will Hunting, Fight Club, A Time to Kill, and many more I'm likely forgetting.

I haven't watched a lot of films but these have been, at some point, at the #1 spot of my favorite movies:
1. The Good The Bad and The Ugly: Yea, I know, typical western movie, at this point it looks a lot cliched, but back when I was young it was a really entertaining film with a great storyline. In fact, I checked the runtime of the movie because I wanted it to be longer. Lol.
2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: At first I thought it was a really unorganized mess of a movie, but as I delved into it more it became clear what a beautiful film it was in the music, the aesthetics, the story, and the message.
3. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest: A very emotional movie that actually had me crying. Very dark atmosphere but the concepts it explores and Jack Nicholson's character makes it one of the only movies that invoked a lot of emotions from me, both happy and sad.
4. Solaris- I love Soviet movies for their introspective nature. Solaris was the first Soviet movie that really got my attention in its visually beautiful presentation and soundtrack mixed with a thoughtful and intriguing story. Tarchovsky is a movie genius.
5. Pulp Fiction- Fun. Pure fun. The story was amazing. By the end of the movie I was smiling because the plotline was so jam-packed with creative and clever loops.
About it so far.

Pulp Fiction is so much smarter than it's given credit for. Not that it isn't a popular movie it is, but people don't seem to realise how much intelligence there is in the way it's crafted. The other movies you mentioned are great too especially Cuckoo's Nest (I haven't seen Solaris though)

There's a lot of hidden stuff in Pulp Fiction that not everyone gets. You watched all of the movies aside from Solaris?

I haven't had much time to explore human bodies The Internet is your friend there Personal story, but again, I, for some reason, can't handle seeing much sexual stuff and whenever I do it causes me discomfort. For example, pornography. I've never watched it in my life because of this.

Okay how in the hell did this thread lead to breastfeeding as a major topic? On that note, Milk Money is a pretty panned film, wonder if anyone here lists it as a favourite.
