Hey everyone, proud to be one of the founding fathers of this forum, which was built from the ashes of All Pink Floyd Fan Network, a now deactivated website which was affectionately nicknamed Beatles Metallica Jimbob Pink Floyd Forum (based on the most discussed topics at the time), or BMJPFF for short.
I love Pink Floyd on almost a fanatical level and have done for many years. The only other band who hit home on as hard a level for me was Metallica. My overwhelming passion for both these bands has admittedly waned but they will always be among my favourites for leavin such a deep deep impact on the formative years of my development into a muso nerd.
As as of late my biggest musical obsession is Tom Waits, but I've also been listening to plenty of blues and hip-hop. Latest album listening a range from as diverse as John Coltrabe's A Love Supreme to Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band's Trout Mask Replica. I've also checked out the complete discography of Crass. So my music taste is pretty damn eclectic, as is the range of films I'm passionate about. Look forward to meeting you all.
