Disgustingly, outrageously, insultingly overpriced. Surely these guys don't need that much money. So screw it I pirated it. Shame on me. Unfortunately I couldn't get the film content. Yet the songs while hit or miss did give me a new understanding of the band. This said plenty of archival material that should have been there was left off and Seabirds which was said to be on there but was actually an alternate version of Quicksilver with the name Seabirds, was the most insulting exclusion.
For the band that wrote Money, this sure does define the worst aspects of capitalism. Not that I hate capitalism in general or want to get too political but jeez is this corporate greed for you.

Couldn't agree more, and I'm sure that on some level Roger Waters would be proud of you for pirating the box set and saying fuck you to the corporate establishment

I can see why sets for hardcore fans could be 100-200 dollars. That's fine. But i've seen this go up to $800. No thanks.

It's pretty much saying "fuck you give us all your money" to gullible fans

So essentially the entire box set was terrible. I never really had a thing for buying large box sets of Floyd because I just felt they were always sort of overpriced. Hyprocritical, sure.

No it had about 51 songs I liked. As far as I know, they didn't even include the band's entire BBC Sessions. Or Let's Roll Another One. All that plus the Seabirds folly makes it a total waste of time to even think about purchasing the box set, especially for that sort of price
