Maybe you Aussies (basically south Brits) don't get it, but to foreigners like us there's a certain vibe that British people give out that instantly show that you're British...In fact, while I get a very British vibe from Kelan, I get a very Aussie vibe from you whenever I look at your face. Which is heavily ironic since so many people lately that I've met have been asking me what my fucking nationality is Is that even an appropriate question to ask somebody? Only very rarely did I ever get asked about my nationality, and that's mostly when they see my last name. Just "Asian" is good enough lol.

But you don't have to sound bogan to be Australian. Take Malcolm Fraser for instance. Would you say he sounds like a typical Bogan?

Well I don't know what a "typical Bogan" sounds like...So I'm gonna say he just sounds Aussie. Honestly most Aussies have a very distinct accent. And I don't think it's your accent...I think it's your looks. Which is a little bit racist, but whatever.

And fair enough, well a "typical Bogan" is the sort of accent that people like Crocodile Dundee has - one that most foreigners happen to think of when they think of the Aussie accent.... now would you say Malcolm Fraser sounds like a typical Aussie?

No, definatley not. He sounds either like an American announcer or an American doing a British accent. I always thought you had a very Aussie accent but after listening to maybe other Aussies I realized your accent isn't as thick, and maybe that's the problem?

That's a surprise, as he doesn't sound American in the slightest.... if anything he sounds British-Australian. In truth, his accent is technically Australian - a cultivated Australian accent, which is increasingly rare to come across nowadays. It's interesting that even the Australian dialect has variations...You speak the standard dialect right? Also, we should really be calling it "dialect" and not "accent", as most linguists advocate for the use of that terms since "accent" carrys a connotation of being "different and wrong".

I identify as being somewhere in between "General" and "Cultivated". And I maintain that Fraser doesn't even sound remotely close to an American haha

Speaking of which, can you do different dialects, both in Australia and outside? Like can you do an Irish impression or something?

Somehow their names sound more British than American... lel You'd be delightfully surprised to know that they're both half-Black and half-White, lol. And they both had white moms with black dads. Interesting thing about them, I think Peele? Was born, as I said, with a white mom and a black dad, but he was later adopted, shockingly, to another family with a white mom and a black dad. Lol. Because they grew up in such a weird setting like this they like to make a lot of jokes about how a lot of people say they "talk and act like white people" even when their appearences are "black". Also, since Key's skin is actually pretty light and he looks more "white" than Peele, somewhat, I'm guessing that's why he can play a white guy, indian guy, hispanic guy, without any awkwardness.
