It was honestly pretty bland mate. As meaningful as it was. I can't agree with that honestly - it's another song that's saved by Roger's vocal performance. Plus the lyrics are pretty interesting here as well - particularly when he called out all those world leaders, and of course the ending I will say that I liked the ending, but the thing is that the musical aspect of the song had nothing special. |

When the hell did he have a career-spanning Floyd compilation? Ermm.... I'm pretty sure that wasn't compiled by Gilmour all alone. Thought Echoes was a group effort. And I'm pretty sure that if Gilmour DID compile it all by himself (or with Mason or Wright) Roger would've gone mad. |
