As we all know, 2016 has been a god-awful year for celebrity deaths - be it musicians, actors or otherwise. In the last few days alone we've lost Rick Parfitt and then George Michael. So it's clear that even though we've still got five days until the year ends that we're gonna lose maybe one or two more icons.
Anyway, what this thread is asking is who would you consider to be worst death of the year? Like the one that's hit you hardest (though not someone you personally knew). For me, it has to be the one who started this year's long string of deaths - David Bowie, which came as a total shock to virtually everyone. Though also worth mentioning is how two founding members of Jefferson Airplane (Paul Kantner and Signe Anderson) died on the same day....

Fidel Castro- Yea, he's been pretty crap for a long time and he hasn't been doing anything asides from Twitter but it marked the death of a great leader.
Alan Rickman- Wonderful actor. I'd just finished watching a lot of his movies when I got the news that he died, it was a shame.
David Bowie- Amazing musician, I always enjoyed his music and while he wasn't one of my favorites it again, came as a huge shock to me.
Also that girl in the video is cute no matter how ridiculous it is lol

She's also in When Harry Met Sally although she's far from a highlight of that film. She's also in Drop Dead Fred.

I've unfortunatley never seen those two movies before :T But generally I'm guessing most people like her for her role as Leia.

Drop Dead Fred is honestly kind of dumb though I loved it growing up, and it does have a bit of a cult following. When Harry Met Sally's a perfect description of the male/female divide and is extremely funny but admittedly for all it's endearing qualities, it does have a few moral details I have a problem with. Still a good film though.

Lol Well the question the movie raises is "can men and women be friends without the sex getting involved" and while addressed cleverly I think it's a more complex question than the movie lets on. I'm not sure there really is an answer. As for the male, female divide, in their mentality yeah.
