Hey sup my fellows.
So, I had no idea where to put this but since I want to learn languages through books thought this might be the appropriate position.
At first I ordered 3 new language books, German, Dutch, and Ukrainian, but apparently Dutch and Ukrainian are out, so I only have a German book right now.
I want to learn more, and I chose two I want to learn, that's Ukrainian and Finnish (Finnish I heard is pretty hard but I'm hoping I get a good challenge out of it), and I want to choose one more to learn but not sure what.
These are the choices I'm thinking of:
1. Belarusian- Similar to Russian that I already know, it'd be easy. I don't know how many resources are avaliable though.
2. Irish- I always had an interested in Gaeliga, but I'm afraid it'd be way too difficult for me, especially the pronunciation.
3. Polish- Again, Slavic language, similar to Russian, but it has a very spastic writing system that I'm not sure I can handle.
Or should I just ditch these choices and only buy Finnish and Ukrainian for now?

I'd say take one at a time. Learn German and become competent at it. Take your time. Then jump to the next one.

Lol mate you known me for a long time, is it any surprise I'm terrible in social situations? No, what's surprising is that you've done practically nothing to change that Mate, I don't really want to socialize with people about music and stuff I dislike. One thing I won't do is lie. I don't like the mainstream music they listen to. Period. I'm not gonna pretend that I do just to assert myself in social situations. Also I'm generally very awkward because that's how I've been for the past 16 years of my life mate

But surely you also have some remotely mainstream interests - like the aforementioned TBBT and Doctor Who

Not a lot of people even watch TBBT nowadays. There's more female fans of Doctor Who I find but even Doctor Who has a social stigma as it's regarded as a "nerdy show" I guess. The only girls who are hardcore fans I can find are online.

Oh, well I dunno, try finding out if there's any that are near your area Well most of the girls I talk to are from different regions of the US and sometimes from the UK or Canada. But mostly that's it, so they're pretty far away most of them.

I've always said that you're better off sticking with people closer to home

I've always said that you're better off sticking with people closer to home I've had some experience in long distance relationships. I can tell you they're not as bad as you make them out to be. For people who can't "stick with people close to home", it's a good option.

For people who can't "stick with people close to home", it's a good option. Long distance relationships usually end in frustration from the lack of physical intimacy.... This article explains it well: au.complex.com/pop-culture/2014/06/10-reasons-why-long-distance-relationships-fail

1. End in Frustration- can be said about all relationships 2. Physical intimacy- emotional "intimacy" is more important. Oh, just saying, I only had experience with girls who were ONLY involved in online dating like me. For some reason they can't/don't want to date IRL, like me, so that's why we made...Good matches.

Well there you go. You've never had a real-life physical relationship, so you can't exactly compare
