No, what happened? Also for some reason if I'm writing my reply and then I erase everything I wrote because I want to change it, it doesn't allow me to reply anymore and the cursor gets stuck in your message. Can you fix this? Try refreshing. Also I'm genuinely surprised that you don't remember - it was in hindsight the argument that marked the beginning of the end of the old APFFN. She was arguing ferociously with the then-mods (Kelan and myself) over whether or not notable forum incidents should have been included, as the descriptions would have been too partisan Yea I do refresh, it's just annoying to do it all the time. She just loves arguing over anything doesn't she?

I saw him on the "most likes" "most messages" list but I never saw him around the forum actually. Like I don't think I've seen him post before, maybe once or twice. You joined after his first return - where he if I recall helped drive George out (which was largely why he stopped actively contributing), and made his "halcyon days" quote. Then he disappeared and then came back in the final days before the forum's downfall - of course only to stir up trouble. Kelan can better explain this though 1. What's the halcyon days quote? 2. What's the fued between Gerry and George? 3. What trouble did he stir up? WJDKLFJDKSLFJKLSDFSDLKFDS:KFDSJKLFDSL:FJSD

Well I wouldn't be that disparaging of her - we may have had our differences, but for the majority of the time she was quite pleasant and a very effective contributor to the forum

I think this is a matter that no longer is relevant

I think this is a matter that no longer is relevant I can agree to that - a PM with all of the answers that Stevie seeks will suffice

Is she even going to join this forum?

Haha where did you get that from... I got the idea that you did since as far as I know you still seem to be in contact with The Piper, plus you were the only one who seemed to know most of the old timers back on the forum

I genuinely think this is not appropriate to discuss. If any former members return then they may not appreciate it.

I had Paulo's email address since he had written me an email after the restructure "APFFN misses you", rather ironic in retrospect. But I didn't contact him again after a couple of email exchanges and I don't even know if the address still works. As for the old-timers, I had read a lot of old discussions from the site and was familiar with most user's views, but I can't say I had a lot more contact with them than any of you had. There wasn't a lot going on when I joined. I would say though that I got along better with old-timers that dropped by, simply because I wasn't doing anything radically different from what they had done in the heyday of the forum.

I really regret the path this thread took. let's talk about Obscured by Clouds, not Obscured by Russian/British/American/North Korean Politics and Obscured by Cartoons/Curb Memes and Obscured by Old Forum Debates. I really think it's one of Floyd's most underrated albums. I still stand by the underwhelming statement as very little of it jumps out to me an most people. you don't hear it and think "this is fantastic" or even "this is pretty great", you just heard it and at the very most enjoy it whilst still being slightly forgetful of it. Yet as i've delved into this album more and more i've really grown to enjoy it. I think it's the fact that it's between two of Floyd's most essential albums and the latter of those essential albums is followed by three more essential albums. It's very easy for this album to be swamped but it's good. Damn good actually. The atmosphere, the diversity, the guitar experiments, the guitar soulfulness. It's all just great,
